Saturday game between Blesk and Olympia finished Extraliga 2021 regular season. Blansko, who were able to come back from 0-6, won it in the end.
Home team started the game in style. Nick Sciubba sent first pitch from Luise Rengel behind the fence. Jonáš Výbora followed the suit with a two run homerun and by the end of the inning Jablonec was winning 6-0. But after the fourth inning, the situation was rather different, as Blansko batters came back and ahead 8-6. Adam Prudil was even close to getting a Cycle, where he only missed triple.
Jablonec tried to turn the game in their favor, scoring four runs till the seventh inning, they were able to level the score to 10-10. In the eight inning, however, Blansko took advantage of a defensive error and went ahead with two runs. Blesk responded with a run, but it wasn’t enough to win the game. The game was a practice before the Promotion League for both teams, where they will play each other again to fight for the spot in Extraliga 2022.
