After one day off czech team played another game on World Baseball Championship U23. In Placement group they met with Nicaragua.
Nicaragua entered into the game in better way. Milkar Perez in first inning hamered two run homer. Next inning team from latin America added one more run. From this point czech starter Ondřej Satoria didn’t allow more runs. He pitched complete game and allowed Nicaragua only three runs.
Unfortunatelly czech struggled on bat again. In seven innings they had only 4 hits and didn’t score any runs. In last inning they had great opportunity to score any whne they loaded bases with two outs. But Vojtěch Menšík was ground out and for the second time on tournamet Czechia ends game with zero runs.
After loss is Czechia 0-3 in Placement group table on the last place. If they don’t want to finish on 12th posititon they need at least to win next game against Netherlands
