All-Star Games will be played in Hluboká and Choceň in next two years
Czech Baseball Association (ČBA) agreed on the cities where All-Star games will take place in next two years. These should be Hluboká and Choceň.
Extraliga newcomer from previous season Hluboká hosted the game in 2020 when they finished the renovation of their field. After a year break the event returns to the same venue.
In 2023 the game moves to Choceň, which was the first baseball field with an artificial lighting in the country. However, the club is not certain to be given the All-Star game as ČBA set up conditions, where at least one youth game has to played on the field in the following year a the field itself has to be modified to fulfill the requirements for the All-Star game.
ČBA also set the date for the game, which should now take place a week before Prague Baseball Week. The All-Star game will be a mean for the senior men team to prepare, as the game will see the nation team face Extraliga selection, including the foreign players.
