MLB Network channel announced rosters of all teams playing World Baseball Classic on Thursday.
Czech roster showed a number of changes from the team playing in Regensburg. Coaches added Eric Sogard, who has plenty of experience from MLB. But we can also find a William Escala from Miami University. Experience player Jeff Barto was also allowed to join the team, after MLB disallowed him to play the qualification. The only Czech player with a contract with an MLB organization Boris Večerka also made the cut.
Coaching stuff also saw a new face being added as the former head coach Mike Griffin joined.
Current roster has 32 players, with only 30 allowed. Based on the information we have Jake Rabinowitz and Martin Červinka will not travel to Tokyo. Neither of the player is part of the official WBC graphics.
