Vladimír Chlup moves to Tempo Praha

After his end in Eagles Praha, Vladimír Chlup found a new place for himself. As he confirmed in the podcast „Pocem, kam deš“, he joined Tempo. However, he won’t be a manager of A-team there.

The information about Chlup’s move to Tempo circulated through the baseball community for several weeks and it now became a reality. „We know Láďa for a while and we cooperated for a long time, since we co-organize a number of tournaments with Eagles. It is no surprise he contacted us, whether we would be interested in his services,“ confirmed club’s general manager Lubomír Čuhel.

It might come as a surprise that Chlup won’t be the manager of Tempo’s A-team, but his main role will be a groundskeeper. „We have large grounds and the work he did for Eagles was excellent. We need as many hands as possible, to prepare it here. His primary assignment is the grounds keeping,“ explains Čuhel, but he doesn’t rule out the possibility of the experience coach joining the senior team. „Naturally, Láďa achieved a lot in Czech baseball as far as the sport side of the thing goes, so we will make use of him as a coach, too. At the beginning, we expect him to help out with A-team. There is never enough hands to throw BP and help with the training. But as far as the coaching team goes, it’s more towards the youth.“
