Kotlářka Praha announced a foreigner who will play for the in the upcoming season. It is Venezuelan pitcher Angel Vilchez who also played for the team in the previous season.
Vilchez started in the Czech Republic in First League for Blesk Jablonec in 2022 season. He showed good performance, winning 8 out of 9 games he played. Altogether he threw 54 innings, with ERA 1.50 and 79 SO. In Promotion League he then added 60 innings with ERA 2.40 and 93 SO.

It was no surprised he caught an eye of Prague team, where he moved in the previous season before Promotion League started, and ended up being one of the main players for the team, helping Kotlářka advance back to Extraliga. Vilchez threw 32 innings in 8 games with ERA 2.81 and 41 SO. This year will be his first against the best batters Czech baseball can offer.
