Thirty year old Dominican Republic player comes to bolster Brno team’s bullpen. Between 2020 and 2021 Acosta played for Chiba Lotte Mariners organization, where he played 2 season in their farm team, but in the end he didn’t make it to NPB. He caught Mariners interest on the tryout in Dominican Republic, where he averaged 157 km/h on his fastball.
