American Wesley Roemer should return back to Czech top baseball league after three years. He should wear Kotlářka Praha colors, the team he helped to advance to Extraliga in the previous season.
It is the Czech fourth club for Roemer. Czech fans got their first look at the player in 2017 when he joined Draci, with whom he won his first title. Two years later he celebrated another title, this time with Arrows Ostrava. In 2021 he then moved to Sokol Hluboká. After a bye-year he returned to the Czech Republic, but this time to First League, where he helped ambitious Kotlářka, who wanted to return to Extraliga.

The utility player threw 302.1 innings in Extraliga with ERA 1.88. In the offense he batted .268 with OBP .357. In the previous year he batted .365 in First League and with 15 IP he reached ERA 1.80. Besides thi, Roemer is also one of only two players in Extraliga history to throw at least two no-hitters. He threw both for Draci Brno.
