There is currently a trio of Venezuelan players registered on Tempo Praha roster. The previous season’s runner-up have youngsters Ali Ascanio, Elvys Castro and Leider Herrera.
Twenty year old pitcher Ali Ascanio played for Boston Red Sox organization in the previous two season. He threw 55.1 innings for them in Dominican summer league with ERA 3.90 and added 54 SO. However, he was waivered in January 2024.

Elvys Castro is of th same age and he was also a part of Red Sox organization, but he only spent a year in Dominican league. In 2021 he played mostly in the left field and on the first base. He finished with BA .254, OBP .313, and OPS .635.
The youngest of the three is Keider Herrera who turned nineteen in January. Despite this, he already has two seasons for Colorado Rockies organization, where he threw 49.1 innings with ERA 5.84 and 43 SO. He played in 23 games in Dominican league, each time as a reliever.
