The Sunday game at Tempo not only brought a win for Eagles Praha, but also a Czech Extraliga milestone. As noted by Jiří Vlach from baseball-stat.cz project during Monday BallCast podcast, Eagles Praha starter Tomáš Duffek overtook Leoš Kubát in the historical table of strikeouts and moved to the 3rd place.
Before the game started, Duffek had 930 SO and was on SO behind Kubát. He managed to tied him in the second inning, when he struck out Ondřej Blažek. Only a few moments later, he earned another SO and moved to the 3rd place. In the end, Duffek finished the game with 9 SO and currently has 939 of them in his career.
