A rich enclave of Czech university players in USA will enlarge next year. Czech youth national team player Jeroným Hanuška and a member of Regensburg academy will played for Texas A&M International University Baseball.
Right-handed pitcher played for Kotlářka in the previous Extraliga season and threw 11 innings with ERA 9.00 in 4 games. Since 2022 he played for baseball academy in Regensburg. In the previous year he threw 27 innings in the second German Bundesliga with ERA 2.67 and 33 strikeouts.
Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is located in Lared, Texas and is home to the baseball team known as TAMIU Dustdevils, founded in 2003 and since then playing in NCAA Division II. The team became Lone Star Conference member in 2014, which allowed them to compete with the best programs in Texas. Their home stadium Dustdevil Field has the capacity of 1500 spectators.
