EXL: Eagles beat Tempo in shortened game
The third game in the series between Tempo and Eagles was played unusually on Tuesday. In the end, the game had to be finished early due to rain.
Since Tempo field doesn’t have lighting, the game was played at Eagles Park. Fans had to wait till the third inning to see the first runs scored. The inning itself was dominated by Eagles offense who get Tempo starter Nicolas O’Rourke out of the game after two run homeruns from Joseph Enea and Matěj Hejma. Jan Homolka then added an RBI after a double. These were also the only runs scored in the game.
Tomáš Duffek only allowed Tempo batters 3 hits and 2 walks in six innings. Neither were enough to score a run, however. After the heavy rains came, the game had to be interrupted and later finished early.
After the game, teams in TOP 6 standings are incredibly close. There are three teams with 5-4 record and next two game weeks promise exciting games.
