National team added the second win
After three games against France, Pavel Chadim’s team faced against the hosting club Tenerife Marlins.
Czech team entered the game with Ondřej Satoria on the mound. Ostrava pitcher threw 3 innings, only allowing 2 hits and no runs. After he was substituted by Albert Pražák, Czechs were leading 1-0, thanks to a solo homerun by Martin Červenka, which came in the second inning.
Young Pražák was able to follow in Satoria’s footsteps as he didn’t allow any runs in the two innings thrown. Afterwards, it was up to Jake Rabinowitz to close up the game. And it was against him that Marlins were able to score for the first time, when the game got tied after a run from Galvan. The same score was on display before the seventh inning. In the bottom half, Patrik Kadrnožka and Jakub Kubica managed to get on the bases, for Petr Zýma to get a walkoff RBI.
Czechs won their fourth friendly game and will now play the last game against Marlins on Sunday.
