EXL: Players of the second week are Martin Červenka and Ondřej Satoria
Fans could once again vote for the players of the week. This time Martin Červenka from Eagles Praha anf Ondřej Satoria from Arrows Ostrava took the awards.
After three losses against Draci, Eagles Praha managed to win the series against Technika without a loss. Their dominance was especially dominant at Properity Parku at Kraví Hora where Eagles won decisively, thanks large part to the catcher Martin Červenka. He had 8 hits and 8 RBI in the series. He also added 2 homeruns to his stats and took the lead within the league. It is no surprise he got 82% of fans’ votes.
Ostrava’s Ondřej Satoria took the award for the Pitcher of the Week. He pitched a complete game shutout in the first game against Hroši. Thanks to his performance Arrows won with a football score 1-0 and kick started their eventual series win. Satoria also saved Arrows’ bullpen who had been having injuries issues at the beginning of the season.
