EC U12: Win against Netherlands gave Czechs a spot at World Cup
Czech U12 national team played another excellent game at European Championship in Austria. They beat Netherlands in the semifinals and ensure they will play at World Cup.
Czechs created a decisive lead from the start, when they took advantage of a defensive error and scored two runs. They were increasing their lead and were winning 6-0 at the end of the third inning.
Daniel Dobeš pitch great when he only allowed one run in five innings. Czechs were also playing a solid defense with mature plays. This was one of the reasons they allowed their opponent close to nothing offensively.
Czech team won their fourth game on the tournament and will now play in the finals against Germany, who they previously beat 16-3 in the group stage. However, the finals won’t be easy. Czechs are defending silver medals from the last-years championship, but they are sure to hope to improve on that this year.
