Czechs entered PBW with a win against Australians
Czech national team played their first game at Prague Baseball Week this year, where they faced players from New South Wales. The game finished with a statement after Czechs won 11-0 after seven innings.
Czechs started their journey towards the win in the second inning when Martin Mužík blasted a two run homerun. Sokol Hluboká’s batter finished the game with four runs.
Pavel Chadim’s player added more runs and showcased more homeruns to the fans. Marek Chlup added one of his after his blasted a three run homerun in the sixth inning, followed by a solo homerun by Martin Červenka a moment later. He was also close to Cycle, only missing a triple.
Ondřej Satoria threw a good game with 6 innings, where he only allowed 2 hits and striked out 9 batters. Jan Tomek then came to close the game. Neither of them walked a player.
The first game of Czech national team started with a decisive win and finished after seven innings. The team continues on Wednesday at 16:30 against Austria, who beat BBJO Globetrotters 2-7 in their first game.
