EXL: Arrows won in third match of the Czech Series 2020
The Czech Series continued on Friday with its third match. Played in Brno, Draci entered the game winning 2-0 in the series. Winning the game would grand them 22nd title in Czech Extraliga. Arrows Ostrava, currently holding the Extraliga title, attempted to bring the series back to Ostrava.
Arrows showed their desire to prolong the series from the early beginning, where they pushed Draci’s pitcher Radim Chroust, to hold an early lead 1-0. In previous matches of the series first team to score won the game. Arrows’ pitcher Ondřej Satoria showed a dominant performance on the mount, allowing home team very little offense.
First run from Draci Brno came in bottom of 4th inning, after their first hit, followed by sacrifical hit by Přemek Chroust. Score 1-1 didn’t last long, however, as Arrows pushed their offense further, scoring two more runs in top of 5th inning.
Ondřej Satoria didn’t allow the home team any more runs, leading Arrows to the first win in the series. His performance also meant his second complete game in the playoff series.
The series will continue on Saturday at 19:00 CEST in Ostrava.
