College Baseball: Furko started in Arizona win
College season started for several teams in the North America. Ondřej Furko was one of the first Czechs to play the college game this year, when his University Arizona Western played against Northeastern Junior College.
It was the third game for Arizona Western on Wednesday, Furko’s first to take the part in. His start was slow, however, when he allowed 4 runs in the first inning. Young pitcher then found his composure as he wouldn’t allow another run for 4 more innings. Furko was substituted at the beginning of the sixth while his team was winning 5-4. Arizona unleashed their bats, taking third win after 10-5 game.
