College Baseball: NC State lost despite Menšík’s hit
NC State, with Vojtěch Menšík, didn’t win thier game despite an early lead. Third inning saw them leading 7-0 against UNCG, but in the end it was their opponent who took home the win.
Vojtěch Menšík started the game as 9th in the lineup, he added one more hit to his stat sheet. Despite 13 runs from NC State, the final result was 13-16 for their opponent. Two big innings were enough for UNCG, where they got 13 runs. They also added 3 more runs in 9th inning, sealing the deal.
Daniel Padyšák started his season previous week, however, Covid-19 outbreak among the university students temporarily halted all sport activities, for now till 1st of March. CSU was supposed to play the entire series against Ball State over the weekend.
