EXL: Eagles Praha signed Carson Goldsmith
After several departures, Eagles Praha announced an important signing, American Carson Goldsmith, who was drafted by Minnesota Twins in 2012.
Goldsmith played as a catcher and a pitcher throughout his career, but he focused mainly on the pitching after the draft. This is the position he is expected to take with Eagles as well. In Twins organization, Goldsmith played two seasons in MiLB, with 22 IP as a reliever, and 5.73 ERA. Afterwards, he spent several years in independant Australian leagues. Last year he was supposed to play for Therwil Flyers in Switzerland, however, pandemic situation didn’t allow him to travel.
