College Baseball: Daniel Padyšák with a win and 10 K
Czech players could be seen in a number of games on Sunday, showing steadily good performances.
Daniel Padyšák started on the mound for Charleston Southern. He threw 6 innings, allowing only 3 runs. Additionally, he earned 10 K. His team won 7-4 and as such, Czech player earner another win.
NC State played the third game in the series against Louisville, however, Wolfpack couldn’t find the way to beat their opponent. Vojtěch Menšík started on the third base, earning a hit and 1 BB. He also added a stolen base.
Arizona Western played doubleheader against Glendale on Saturday. In their second game, Arizona won 24-3 and we could see Ondřej Furko on the mound for an inning. He didn’t allow any runs, however, Czech got himself into hot waters with two BB.
North Greenville, with Marek Chlup, played a doubleheader against Mount Olive. NGU managed to win one of the two games and Chlup helped his team with a hit. In the second game, Czech earned two hits, however, due to his error in the outfield in 9th Mount Olive scored the winning run.
Martin Zelenka and Pitt Community played against Camp. Pitt won 10-6, with Czech adding two hits to his statistics.
Marcus Weinzimer also played a game when Puget Sound squared off against Pacific. He entered the game as a pinch-hitter, however, was unable to add a hit.
