College Baseball: No-hitter by future #1 draft pick
As per usual, Saturday brought a number of college baseball games. Let’s see how Czech players did.
NC State played another game against Louisville, but Vojtěch Menšík and his team earned another loss. Czech had a hit, however, he also earned an error in defense.
North Greenville University played a tough opponent in Mount Olive. First doubleheader was played on Saturday, however, Mount Olive proved too much for NGU. Marek Chlup earned a hit and several BB.
Another game awaited Martin Zelenka and Pitt Community. Zelenka only played the first game, where he helped his team to 8-0 win with two hits.
Milan Prokop played two games for Combine Academy. In the first he earned a hit and BB, but even that wasn’t enough as his team lost 8-10. Despite less success for Prokop in the second game, Combine won 2-0.
Bonus:
The probable #1 draft pick playing for Vanderbilt, Jack Leiter, led his team to 5-0 win against South Carolina. Leiter, who is son of Mark Leiter, a former MLB player, achieved a no-hitter and added 16 Ks to his tally.
