College Baseball: Only one Czech played on Friday
Friday games only saw one Czech player in action. Vojtěch Menšík and his NC State won’t play the planned series against Duke and Filip Smola doesn’t seem to be on the good side of UC Golden Eagles training staff.
On Tuesday, Arizona Western played two games against Chandler-Gilbert. We could see Ondřej Furko in the second of the two, when Arizona Western starter Devin Contreras was substituted. Furko remained on the mound for 4 outs with a run allowed. His team managed to get on top of the situation and win the game 21-11.
North Greenville with Marek Chlup played against Southern Wesleyan on Friday. Czech added a hit to his statistics to help his team win 12-0. Currently, NGU holds 13 wins and only 3 losses.
