Czech baseball leagues may be postponed
Czech baseball leagues were supposed to start at the beginning of April, however, due to the worsening pandemic situation, they may need to be postponed. Extraliga could be the only league that might start on schedule.
There are only few leagues (mostly the professional ones) in the country which got the exemption to continue in the current situation. Based on the information we recieved, Czech Baseball Association will attempt to recieve this exemption for Extraliga. However, it is unlikely that lower leagues will follow the same path, and hence, their start could be postponed as far as the beginning of May. It is currently also uncertain if or when will the specatators join the baseball games.
