College Baseball: Kovala with another start. Tough schedule for Prokop
College baseball continued during the week. Let’s take a look on how Czechs did.
NC State played against Appalachian State on Tuesday. Vojtěch Menšík started again at the third base and with two hits, he helped his team to 13-2 win. In the sixth inning he hit a double and earned 2 RBI, after which the game didn’t see more scorers.
Combine Academy played four games during the week. Milan Prokop started second in the lineup on Monday when his team played against CBC Elite. He earned a hit and a BB when his team won 11-7. On Wednesday they continued with doubleheader against IMG Academy and Combine Academy won both games. In the second game we could also see Michal Kovala who didn’t allow the opponent a single hit and earned 2 SO. Combine kept the winning streak on Thursday as well, when they won 6-1 against Sunshine State Elite Academy. This time, Prokop didn’t add another hit to his stats.
