College Baseball: Marek Chlup in the conference lineup
Before the next series of the weekend games begins in college baseball, let’s take a look at the games that were played over the week days.
Probably the most interesting for the Czech fans was the North Greenville game in Conference Carolinas Baseball Championship. NGU played against the same opponent they play for the last four games in the regular season – Barton College. Unfortunately, NGU lost this important duel 9-11 and they moved to loser bracket where they face King University on Friday. Any loss will mean elimination from the tournament. Good news is that Marek Chlup was nomiated to the conference lineup. Chlup will also be a guest at ForSport Youtube channel, which should be made available at 19:00 (link).

NC State played Appalachian State on Tuesday. NC State, with Vojtěch Menšík in the lineup, was the favourite of the duel, which they confirmed with 7-3 win. Czech had a hit and a run in the game.
Combine Academy played 4 games during the week and Michal Kovala played on the mound. In three innings he allowed 3 htis and 3 runs. He also allowed 6 walks, but even so, his team won 18-8.
