College Baseball: Padyšák takes CSU to win and shutout
Seven Czech players played College Baseball on Saturday. Daniel Padyšák was probably the brightest after his excellent performance for CSU.
NC State played Notre Dame again, this time they were able to beat the favourite. Vojtěch Menšík was in the starting lineup although he only had one BB. This marked his 10th BB on the season.
Charleston Southern University had a doubleheader against USC Upstate played on Saturday. Coming to the game their opponent was 23-7 on the season, but it was CSU who came on top. This was thanks to no small part to Daniel Padyšák who pitched the second game. Czech pitcher remaind on the mound till eight inning, only allowing 3 hits. He also didn’t walk anyone and striked out 7 batters. John Sendziak finished the job and CSU managed to keep their opponent without a run. This marked third win for Padyšák.

North Greenville played two games against Belmont Abbey on Saturday, and similar to Friday games the teams split them. Marek Chlup was in the lineup and he got one hit and two BBs in the two games.
Filip Smola got his forth appearance when he entered the game UCG vs. Davis@Elkins as a pinch-hitter, but he still needs to wait for his first hit.
Pitt Community College won against Lenoir and Martin Zelenka was part of the success after he added 2 runs and 2 RBI. His season stats are .425 BA and .529 OBP.
Both Czech players played on Saturday when Combine Academy faced McMinn County. Milan Prokop ended with zero in the hit column. Michal Kovala pitched last two innings and held Combine 3-1 win.
