College Baseball: Padyšák’s performance not enough for win
College baseball entered its second half, even if D1 NCAA will finish in June. Today we look at Czech players and their games between Wednesday and Saturday.
NC State played Virginia Tech on Friday. Vojtěch Menšík started on third base and helped his team win 3-1 with a hit. The series continues on Sunday with two games.
Daniel Padyšák started on the mound for CSU on the same day. He once again showed a good performance where he was subbed after six innings and only allowed his opponent two runs. Unfortunately, his teammates were not able to take advantage of his pitching and CSU lost 2-4 against UNC Asheville.
North Greenville University played four games against Barton College between Thursday and Saturday. Marek Chlup played in all of them and he helped his team to three wins. The second game was his best, after he earned twelveth homerun on the season. In Saturday game he had 4 BB. His BA dropped from .402 to .352.
Pitt Community College played a doubleheader against Camp Community College on Saturday. In the first game we could see Martin Zelenka behind the home plate. Czech added one hit to his tally, but Pitt still lost 10-11.
Combine Academy played two games in the week and Milan Prokop was part of them. In the first game he had 1 RBI that helped his team to 10-1 win. The second game was even more interesting for Foresythe, as the starting pitcher Isaiah Lowe threw a no-hitter. Combine won 10-0 and Prokop had 2 BB and 1 R.
