EXL: Nuclears Třebíč announced new player

Nuclears Třebíč registered another foreigner to Czech Baseball Association player registry today. Namely, the will bring American Connor Braden Walsh.

Twenty-eight year old arrives as a utility player, who can play on the mound, or in the field. At Citadel University and in the independant leagues he often pitched, but also played in the right field or the first base. He spent four years at Citadel team which playes NCAA at the top level. His last college season was the most successful one, when he earned .342 BA. He also pitched 16.1 innings in NCAA with ERA 4.32, when he stepped on the mound mainly as a reliever.

In the past couple of seasons Walsh played and coached in Australia, Indonesia and South Africa. He will be the fourth foreigner to play for the team from Vysočina this years, along with AJ Cipolla, Ryan Johannes Johnson and Justin Revels.
