First League: Schneider and Vykoukal will play for Olomouc
Despite leaving Extraliga after many years, Skokani Olomouc announced a duo of interesting roster additions this year.
The first one is a longtime core player of Draci Brno and Czech international Martin Schneider. He will join Olomouc, the club where he started with the baseball, on loan in attempt to help them to reach the top flight of Czech baseball. With Schneider, Skokani got themselves a huge boost in both the infield and on the mound.
Another interesting name is Marko Vykoukal who joined Skokani, rather than his hometown club Frýdek-Místek which also plays First League. Vykoukal will return to First League after four years in Extraliga. Last time he played there was for BK Klasik Frýdek-Místek in 2016, where he threw 34.1 IP with 3.15 ERA.
Beside the two players, Jakub Voják should also join Olomouc. Skokani will have a rather interesting lineup, with a core built from Czech international players. They still have a lot of inexperienced players, so it will be interesting to see how far can the team go.
