Bundesliga: Tomek and Pejchal both pitched a win

A bit unorthodoxly, German Bundesliga had game scheduled over the weekend, Wednesday and Thursday in the previous week, as Thursday was a bank holiday. This meant a better chance for Czechs to play.

Regensburg played on Wednesday and Thursday against Stuttgart, who was third in division South, right behind Legionäre. Jan Tomek started, for the first time in the season, the first game. In six innings, he only allowed two runs (1 ER) and four hits. He also had 10 SO. Regensburg won the Wednesday game 9-3 and Tomek got his first win in the season.

On the other hand, Tübingen with Kamil Pejchal is currently at the bottom of division South. They were to face current Bundesliga leader from Heidenheim in the doubleheader. Hawks lost two times against the rank one opponent, but Pejchal got a hit from four at bats. Tübingen then continued with a doubleheader against Ulm, who were in the last place. In the first game Pejchal started on the mound and he helped his team to 13-0 win. In the four innings, he only allowed two hits and a BB. He also added two doubles (3-for-3) with his bat. In the end, he got his second win in the season. In the second game he had two hits (2-for-5) as his team won 12-7.
