EXL: Ostrava won over Blansko by a wide margin
Arrows Ostrava played Olympia Blansko in the week to make up for the postponed games. Similar to the first game, the home team won by a wide margin.
Visitors allowed first run in the first inning, after Tyler Smith scored a solo homerun on Václav Tauš. South African batter played an excellent game once again, he was 3-for-3 with a BB and 4 runs. Home starter Matěj Satoria threw five innings and he only allowed a run to Blansko. Matyáš Kozel then took over.
Home batters showed their power especially in the third inning, where they scored six runs. Aleš Navrátil had two RBI after a two run homerun. With that, he took back the Extraliga record for the oldest player to score a homerun. Battle between two veterans „Pája vs. Ája“ seems to be far from over.
Arrows took the first place in Extraliga with the win. Compared to other teams, they still have one game to play that should take place next week on Tuesday against Blansko. On the other hand, Blansko still only has one win and is six wins behind TOP 6 spot.
