Bundesliga: Czechs didn’t have good games
German baseball Bundesliga continued with another play week. Czechs fans were interested in Division South, where there are Czech players.
Jan Tomek playing for Legionäre started on the mound. This time, he faced strong bats from Mannheim. Czech international left the game in the fourth inning, after the opponent took a more significant lead. Tomek had 3.2 IP, with 7 hits allowed, 6 SO and 6 runs (only three were earned). Regensburg lost 5-7 against Mannheim, marking it their third loss on the season. For Tomek, this was his first loss as he currently is 2-1.
Kamil Pejchal had even worse start against Stuttgart. He wasn’t able to finish the first inning and had to be substituted with only two outs thrown. Till then he allowed 3 hits and 5 BB, as well as 1 HBP. Stuttgart scored 7 runs against him. In the end Tübingen lost 0-17. The second game was much closer, but Stuttgart won this time as well. Kamil Pejchal played in the right field, he had 1 RBI and 1 sacrificial hit.
