EXL: Eagles Praha signed Bryce Aldridge
Eagles Praha will play in TOP 6 this year, but they leave nothing to chance. Bryce Aldrige should bolster their ranks in fights for Extraliga title.
Aldridge played college baseball in USA, where he spent two seasons in NCAA at Indianapolis University and two in Wabash College at DIII level. Since 2019 he played in Australia for Sunshine Eagles where he showed his strength at bat. He should take spot after Andy Cosgrowe who leaves for France. Aldridge will play as a catcher as confirmed by Vladimír Chlup for Eagles web page.
„Andy was promised to France before the season started, but he didn’t want to live in uncertainty, not knowing whether he would play. Since he had a deal there with the club and with his friend, and since French said the deal is off if he doesn’t come, we mutually agreed on the contract termination and instead we signed new catcher in Bryce Aldridge,“ explained Chlup for eagles.cz.
