EXL: Tempo was able to beat Arrows, Hroši lost the second game against Draci
There were three more games played in TOP 6 and today we also had a surprise.
Hroši moved to their home field, but if they wanted to get a win there, they will have to wait till Sunday. Reigning champions were leading 1-6 after three innings, furthermore, Draci had a reliable Filip Čapka on the mound, who threw another quality start. He only allowed 1 run in seven innings. In the third inning we could see Pavel Budský‘s 1000th hit in Extraliga. The series will end on Sunday, at Hroši home field in Brno-Jundrov.

Hluboká didn’t hide their desire to play in the semifinals this year. However, their first three games against Eagles didn’t go their way. Prague team found their hero in Šimon Blažek who didn’t allow any runs in seven innings. On the other hand, his teammates scored 3 runs in the first inning. They continued to increase their lead to 9-0. In the last two innings, home coach sent in only fifteen year old Matyáš Trčka and visitors corrected the final score to 9-5.

The first surprise of TOP 6 happened in Prague, where home Tempo outplayed Arrows Ostrava. Even the 2-0 lead after three innings wasn’t enough for the visitors. Home Marek Minařík wouldn’t allow more runs and in eight innings, he threw 13 SO. Tempo was not able to score against Arrows starter Filip Votava, but the end of the game was all about them. In the bottom of the seventh and eight innings they scored 9 runs against Arrows bullpen and thanks to this, they have the first win in TOP 6.
