Kansas City Royals released Viktor Večerka
Pitcher Viktor Večerka is no longer part of MLB Kansas City Royals organization. Club released the player on Sunday.
Viktor Večerka signed with Royals almost two years ago. Next to Martin Červenka he was to become the second Czech player in Minors. Unfortunately, MiLB didn’t start last season due to Covid-19 and Večerka played in Czech Republic. He was supposed to play the lowest tier of the farm leagues in Arizona this season. If he is not signed by 28th of June, Večerka will not get a chance to play there this season either.
Unless he is injured, pitcher may return to Czech Republic and help Draci Brno in TOP 6 games.
