PBW: Senior team beat International Stars
Senior team played their second game at Prague Baseball Week on Wednesday, this time against International Stars.
Mike Griffin’s team entered the game in the best way possible, when they scored four runs, two of which were thanks to Petr Čech‘s homerun.
However, International Stars, with several players from Extraliga, didn’t just give up and they scored two run homerun thanks to Evyn Yamaguchi. These were the only runs Czech starter Ondřej Satoria allowed. Tomáš Duffek and Martin Schneider followed his suit, only allowing 3 hits in 4 innings. Thanks to this, Czech team won 5-2.
Czech senior team has two wins in Group A and is certain to battle for 1st to 4th place. On Thursday, they will still play the last group game against Spain at 19:00 local time.
