PBW: U23 lost against Spain
Czech U23 played the last game of the second game day at Prague Baseball Week against the favorite from Spain. Visitors didn’t give the young team a chance as they won by a margin.
Czech starter Matěj Satoria beat Spain leadoff batter, but then came two doubles, ground out and a single and Spain was ahead 2-0. Czech coaches sent three pitchers into the game, but none of them was able to match Spain offense. Czech batters, on the other hand, only had two hits in the game thanks to Daniel Ondroušek and Šimon Blažek.
Czech lost 10-0 after six innings and are currently with 2 losses in Group A. Despite all this, it is a great experience for the team. Czech U23 will play the last group game on Thursday against International Stars at 16:00 local time.
