U15 national teams for Czech Republic and Slovakia will enter U15 European Championship on Wednesday. Each team has different goals, however.

Czech U15 belongs to the top teams in European baseball and they want to confirm it. They will have a tough road ahead of them, however, as they play in the group with France and Germany. Czech Republic coach Filip Procházka confirmed the sentiment. „We know that French and Germans won’t give up and they are going to fight till the last out. We have to play with respect.“

Slovakia will play the group stage against Italy, Netherlands and Austria. The team knows what it’s like to be demoted from European Championship U15 Category A and would like to avoid the same fate. The main goal of the team is to remain among the best European teams. „Two years ago we lost all games on mercy rule, none of the game finished after 7 innings. This year, we would like to change this and we would want to remain in Category A with two wins,“ said for the tournament web page coach Marek Červený.

Group stage will be played in both countries. Czech group in Brno, at MBS, while Slovak group will be played in Trnava. Next phase will then be played completely in Brno, at MBS and Areál Hroch. The fans can also look forward to streams from all games in Brno
