CEB Cup: Draci Brno beat Valencia 15-6
After a postponed game on Tuesday, Draci Brno had two games ahead of them. The first one started at 10am, where they faced a tough opponent from Spain.
The game started positively for Draci, as they scored after Přemek Chroust’s hit. Unfortunately, their opponent took advantage of Omar Conoropo’s inaccurate hand and thanks to three walks they took 1-2 lead.
However, Eugene Helder changed the game dynamics after a solo homerun.
Draci took advantage of errors in the left field and added three runs. Suddenly it was Spain who was behind. Furthermore, Draci kept increasing their lead. Duo Martin Kalábek (2/4, 4 RBI, 1 BB) and Pabel Manzanero (4/6, 2 HR, 4RBI) led Czech offense having their hands in 8 runs. Venezuelan only missed a triple to Cycle.
Draci won 15-6 and have two wins from two games. The second game they play starts from the second inning with 4-0 Draci lead.
