CEB Cup: Draci Brno won their fourth game

Four games, four wins. That’s the record for Draci Brno at CEB Cup 2021. Czech baseball came closer to gaining another spot in Champions Cup 2022.

Draci entered the game in style, leading 4-0 after the first inning. Inning later, “Power of Mustache” striked. Martin Kalábek doubled Draci runs with a grand slam homerun.

Brno team continued in the trend in the third inning, adding four more runs. Before the bottom of the fifth inning they were already ahead 15-0. However, in the bottom half, young Tomáš Hrbek lost control of his pitches and along with a defensive error, Austrians scored 6 runs. Hrbek was substituted by Jan Nebenführ who didn’t allow any hits for the remainder of the game, helping Draci to a dominant win.

Draci Brno will play the last game of the tournament against home Senárt. If French team loses against Minsk, Draci will earn the first place in the group and the spot in Champions Cup. Otherwise, they will have to beat their opponent on Saturday.
