EXL: Hroši Brno paid Eagles back for losses at home
Czech Extraliga continued with the last game of the series between Hroši and Eagles on Sunday. This time both teams faced each other in the South Moravia capital.
After two losses in Prague, Brno team wanted to get the win at the home field. And they started with this in mind, when they took advantage of a defensive error and scored two runs in the first inning.
Eagles were able to respond with a run in the second inning, but they allowed their opponent to gain momentum in the third inning. Prague team created three errors in the inning and home team punished them with four runs.
Hroši managed to keep the lead for the rest of the game. Raymon Whitehead had his hand in the success, as he only allowed three runs in six innings. Michal Puškár then threw the remaining three innings. Hroši won 7-5 and took the win from the last game of the series.
