EXL: Marek Minařík took over Player of the Week award
For the second time on the season on team took both the Player and the Pitcher of the Week awards. But it was for the first time both awards were given to the same player.
Tempo was certain to have a winner in both categories before the voting even started, as Marek Minařík and David Vohánka were two nominees in Pitcher of the Week award. Additionally Joey Wagman was nominated as Player of the Week. However, Minařík was an uncontested winner in both categories in the end.
„Czech Shohei Ohtani“ showed his exceptional talent on the mound but also at bat. Hroši Brno could testify this. First, Minařík threw a no-hitter against them, only to add 6 hits, two of which were homeruns, in the series. Tempo player also had 8 RBI and 6 R. His performance was instrumental in three wins Tempo took.
