EXL: Tempo took two wins from Brno
One of the highlights of Saturday TOP 6 games was Marek Minařík performance. But fans could see much more than that.
The second game between Arrows and Eagles was played in Ostrava, this time starting two experienced pitchers in Boris Bokaj for Arrows and Tomáš Duffek for Eagles. We had to wait till the bottom of the third inning to see the first run, when Jakub Malík scored in Jakub Kubica. But visitors came back in next half inning, as Michal Zýma blasted a three run homerun.
Since this moment, Eagles wouldn’t let go of the lead. Tomáš Duffek was substituted in the eight inning by Ondřej Kvapil and in the ninth we saw Joseph Evan Enea, who played in Extraliga for the first time and also got his first save.

While Hluboká kept close with Draci till the very end on Friday, reigning champions didn’t allow any drama on Saturday. Trio Arnošt Dubový (4 H1 3 R, 2 RBI), Eugene Helder (3 H, 2 RBI, 1 BB) and Filip Moštěk (2 H, 2 RBI, 1 BB) complemented him in the offense. Draci earned a dominant win and moved to the first place in TOP 6 standings.
