MiLB: Adam Macko earned his second loss of the season
Slovak pitcher Adam Macko started on Wednesday in the game between Modesto Nuts and Frezno Grizzlies. Despite a good performance, he earned second loss of the season.
Macko started the first inning well, registering two quick outs. However, Ezequiel Tovar then scored a solo homerun and Grizzlies took the lead. Talented pitcher then finished the inning with a strikeout. Slovak player followed with a 1-2-3 inning, striking out all three batters.

A rather scary moment happened in the third inning, when Colorado Rockies #1 prospect Zac Veen stepped into the batter box. Veen hit the ball straight towards Macko. Thankfully, thanks to quick reflexes, Slovak pitcher caught the ball in his glove.
It was also the last out of the game for Macko. After a walk to Ezequiel Tovar, Modesto coaches substituted Slovak. At the time he threw 49 pitches. In the end, Modesto lost 3-6, giving Macko the loss.
