U18 will play European Championship on Monday
Czech U18 will play the first game of European Championship at 10am on Monday. They will try to defend the bronze medals from 2018.
The road won’t be easy for them, however. Team under David Winkler will play against Germany, Spain and Austria. First two teams in the group will advance to the semifinals. Teams playing in the finals will also get a spot in the World Championship.
Eagles Praha is the team represented the most, with 5 players in the roster. Czech U18 consists of players from 8 different teams. All of them, despite the young age, have experience from Extraliga. The team itself showed they have plenty of quality after they finished third at Prague Baseball Week. In the friendly games, they even tied against Germany and Netherlands.
