EXL: Eagles Praha brought in Canadian catcher
Catcher position is a long-term sore for Eagles Praha and it is also the one where they regularly bring players from abroad. For the following season this position should be filled by Canadian baseball player Jake MacDonald.
Twenty four year old MacDonald comes to Czech Extraliga after two years in Bundesliga, where he played for Solingen Alligators. There he played with .333/.411/.625 in twelve games in 2021. In the previous season he also played for Barrie Baycats, in the independent Intercounty Baseball League, where he batted with BA .259 in 27 games.
