College Baseball: David Bauer star at Florida tournament
Same as in the previous years, we will bring you news about Czech players at universities, high schools and academies overseas. The first article of the season goes to David Bauer.
David Bauer played Perfect Game tournament at Florida in the previous week, namely PG MLK Championship, and he certainly showed what he had to offer. In the first game he started for NEB American in the first batting spot and his three hits from 3 AB helped to 5-2 win. These were also the only hits of his team. David also added 3 out of 5 team runs.
Czech player finished the tournament with an injury, but even so he had 9 hits in 9 games. At the end he earned MVP award, picking up where he left of in the previous seasons, as he was part of the best line four times and once took home MVP award.
