EXL: Eagles bring American Raymond Watt
We know another name, which will play in Czech Extraliga next season. This time it is American baseballer Raymond Watt who should wear Eagles Praha jersey.
Twenty four year old Watt only played in USA so far. For the past four seasons he played in Division II NCAA team Pittsburgh-Johnstown, where he was primarily a reliever and a closer. He threw 51 innings in NCAA, with ERA 11.65 and 3 saves. In 2021 he played in Northwoods League for Duluth Huskies in 2021 where he earned ERA 15.19 in 10.2 IP.
Watt also has experience as a batter, when he played in a center field in lower amateur leagues. In Altoona Greater City League he even became the best offensive player with BA .545. Beside that he also threw a no-hitter as a starting pitcher. Thus Eagles Praha bring an interesting utility player.
