EXL: Eagles Praha acquired Daniel Padyšák
Czech baseball saw a rather interesting move this week. National pitcher Daniel Padyšák moved from Kotlářka Praha to city rival Eagles.
Daniel Padyšák‚s first Extraliga game came when he was fifteen and after five seasons, he had 102 IP with ERA 3.00. In the last two seasons he played at University Charleston Southern, which is part of NCAA Division I. He also became the Rookie of the Week in Big South conference in his first year. He received the same award a year later as well. Padyšák finished the previous season playing in NECBL in USA, where he pitched as a reliever for Valley Blue Sox earning 3 saves.
It can be expected that Padyšák will play beyond the pond in spring and will join Eagles in the second half of the season. Either way, with his acquisition, club from Prague Krč district gained an experienced young talent.
